A Canadian initiative called the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2024 seeks to educate and empower international students by teaching them Canadian research methodologies and skills. Under the supervision of professors or faculty members from Canadian universities, this program gives students from a variety of academic fields—including science, engineering, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences—a 12-week research experience. The program offers students the chance to investigate multidisciplinary and team research projects, enabling them to look for projects within particular and broad categories. It is a fully-funded overseas internship.

The Canadian internship program offers a platform for working together on diverse projects, which is quite advantageous for students. Interns from other universities collaborate, gain useful experience, and have the chance to interact with coworkers from other nations and schools. Through this cooperative internship, they are able to create a network of Mitacs Globalink graduates that will be beneficial to them in the future. In addition, Yukon University and University of Alberta experts are collaborating with mining firms to reintroduce vegetation to Yukon mines. These chances offer interns a chance to make a substantial contribution to worthwhile projects that have an impact, which has the potential to change their lives.
