Mitacs Globalink Research Internship

A Canadian initiative called the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2024 seeks to educate and empower international students by teaching them Canadian research methodologies and skills. Criteria for Internship at Mitacs Globalink Research

• The candidate must be a full-time undergraduate or undergraduate/master’s student at an eligible university in order to apply.
• The applicant must be a citizen of one of the following nations: Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
• The candidate should also have one or three semesters left on their undergraduate degree as of fall 2023 and be at least 18 years old.
• The final requirement is that the applicant be available for a 12-week internship in Canada.

How to Apply

• Candidates must use the Global Student portal to submit their applications online for the Mitacs Globalink Research Internships.
• If the candidate’s program is not included, they should attempt conducting a search using a variety of keywords across various academic fields, taking into account both general and niche areas. For help, email helpdesk@mitacs.ca if the university still does not display.
• Candidates must submit applications for at least three projects in at least three Canadian provinces, with a maximum of seven projects. Candidates must carefully finish their application by the due date because there is no submit button.
• The candidate’s present professor who supervises them in their home country must write the reference letter. Before exiting the application page, applicants should remember to save their application.
• A resume, an official transcript in English or French, a personal statement, at least one reference letter, a current passport, and research experience are needed for the Mitacs Globalink Research Internships.
