Morehead-Cain Scholarship USA 2022

Morehead-Cain Scholarship was the first merit scholarship program established in the United States, founded at the University of North Carolina.
The Morehead Scholarship provides a four-year, fully funded educational experience for exceptional student leaders at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The Morehead Cain Scholarship opens in August 2022.

Eligibility of Morehead-Cain Scholarship

• High school seniors and candidates to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill are eligible to apply for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship
• High school students on course to graduate in the Spring.
• A competitive applicant to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
• Nominated by your high school or an affiliate program, or applying directly.

Requirements for Applying:

• Students applying to the Eagle Scholars program who have not taken dual credit courses at MSU must:
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA and an 18 composite ACT score.
• Apply for admission to Morehead State.
• Submit your high school transcript and qualifying admission test scores and mail your application to MSU’s Office of the Registrar (ATTN: Laken Johnson, records specialist, 201 Ginger Hall, Morehead, KY 40351).
• Submit the course registration form to the Office of the Registrar.
