Eligibility of the Tsinghua University Schwarzman Scholarship
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 29 as of August 1 of their enrollment year for Schwarzman Scholars.
- Applicants enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programs must be on schedule to complete all degree requirements by August 1.
- There are no specific undergraduate major requirements; all majors are accepted.
- Language Proficiency in English:
- TOEFL PBT stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. Minimum total of 600 points. OR
- TOEFL iBT is the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language. A result of at least 100 or IELTS (International English Language Testing System). Minimum grade 7. or
- Certificate of English Proficiency: This requirement is waived for applicants who attended an undergraduate institution where English was the primary language of instruction for at least two years of their academic program.
