Selection Process

There is no set selection process for applicants to the MBA program, however non-EU (visa) students are “screened” based on their backgrounds so that the institution can ensure their immigration status.

The screening process includes an interview, the gathering and matching of all IND-required documentation, including evidence of sufficient income, while also accounting for any scholarships offered by Wittenborg (such as the Orange Tulip Scholarship) or by outside organizations (such as NUFFIC, the EU, etc.).

In their motivation letter, applicants must explain why they chose Wittenborg’s program and, in the case of overseas applicants, why they desire to study in the Netherlands. Since the programs are difficult and there is a requirement that international students finish at least half of all their credits in a year, student motivation is crucial.
