Scotland Pakistani Scholarship

Pakistani women and girls can now apply for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships 2022 for Young Women and Girls. This is a wonderful opportunity, which funds Pakistani women to pursue graduate studies in any HEC-recognized university in Pakistan. These grants, funded by the Scottish Government, are intended to make higher education more accessible to women, supporting their ambitions and potential.

The Scotland Pakistan Scholarship is specifically designed for female students that wish to pursue a four-year bachelor’s degree at university level. The British Council will administer the scheme in Pakistan and coordinate with selected scholars and universities either directly or through designated university focal persons.

To be eligible for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships, you must meet the following criteria:

• Scholarships are only available to female applicants.
• Additionally, applicants must:
• Currently reside in Pakistan as Pakistani nationals
• A four-year bachelor’s degree in one of the above areas is required
• Hold an admission offer from an HEC-recognized university in Pakistan

Additionally, young women with disabilities, from rural areas and/or minorities are encouraged to apply.

The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls Scheme will assist award-holders with:

• Tuition fees for courses in eligible fields
• University hostel costs (where applicable)
• Travel to and from home to university two times a year for students staying in on-campus hostels

• A complete application will include:
• A duly filled out application form
• Scanned copy of CNIC
• Scanned copy of transcripts
• Proof of admission and/or enrolment at bachelor’s level
• Also, Tuition fee form
