Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarships

The Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarships Programme is designed for international students from  Africa, India or one of the selected Commonwealth countries who want to pursue a Master’s Degree in the University of Nottingham and make a difference to the development of their home country.

Details of the Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship:

  • Level: Masters
  • Deadline: Friday, 20 May, 2022.
  • Funding: 50% or 100% Tuition fee funding.
  • Type of Study: Full-Time Course.
  • Country: U.K

  • Field of Study: Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Social Science

Eligibility:

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • be domiciled in Africa, India or one of the selected Commonwealth countries later listed.
  • be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
  • hold an offer to start a full-time masters (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham UK in September or October 2022, studying in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Science or Faculty of Social Sciences.

Important:

You are not eligible for Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarships if you:

  • are a current student or graduate of the University of Nottingham
  • have already studied outside of your home country
  • are currently studying in the UK.

Eligible countries:

Africa (all nations), Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

Benefits of Nottingham Developing Solutions scholarship:

  1. If you’re a student from England or Wales, you may be eligible for a doctoral loan of up to £26,445
  2. The government’s masters loan is also available if you want to study a research masters (MRes).
  3. Doctoral training programmes and funding of UK tuition fees along with a monthly living allowance for UK and international students
  4. Explore individual studentships, which usually cover tuition fees and contribute towards your living costs.

How to Apply for Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship:

You must apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time masters (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship.

When you have received your offer to study, you can apply through the scholarships section of the university’s application system, NottinghamHub.

If you have an offer for an MRes course, email the scholarships team on scholarship-assistant@nottingham.ac.uk for instructions on how to apply.

 

Also Apply Commonwealth scholarship

Document Required:

  • Make sure that you upload scanned copies of your degree certificate and transcripts, as well as any other supporting documents.
  • Depending on the course you are applying for, you may also need to provide two references, including at least one who can comment on your academic ability. These must be dated within two years of the date of your application and, if not received directly from your referee, signed and on letter-headed paper. It may also require a personal statement.
