Netherlands Government Scholarship 2022 | Orange Knowledge Program

Applications are open for the Netherlands Government Scholarship 2022. The government of the Netherlands is providing a chance to study for free. This fully-funded scholarship program is named Orange Knowledge Program and aims to gather intellectual students from around the world to enable development. The scholarships are open for short courses on urban management or development and master’s degree programs.

The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to advance the development of the capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals as well as organisations both in the field of higher and vocational education and in other fields related to the priority themes in the programme countries.

Details of the Netherlands Government Scholarship

  • FUNDING: Fully Funded. This 5-year programme is initiated and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic.

Eligibility Criteria :

Eligible Countries:

Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen and Zambia.

Here are the eligibility criteria for the Netherlands Government Orange Knowledge Program.

  • If you are in mid of your career, you can apply for this scholarship program.
  • Applicants must have relevant work experience or field of interest.
  • Applicants should belong to the OKP countries.
  • Applicants must have the required documents at the time of application.
  • To get the OKP scholarship, one must be enrolled in the course or program they want a scholarship for.
  • Applicants must be nationals of the eligible countries.
  • Applicants must commit to returning to their country or work after completing the OKP scholarship.
  • Check the application requirements and eligibility criteria for your desired university, as the conditions may differ.

 

How to apply for the Netherlands Government Scholarship 2022

  • Interested applicants can not apply via the official website.
  • Choose your desired course and check which university is offering the course.
  • After checking the availability of the course, contact the university to get the information regarding the eligibility criteria and application process.
  • Make sure to provide all the required documents.
  • Do not skip the required fields.
  • After carefully completing your application form, submit it to the university.
  • Once you are admitted to the university, HIS will send an invitation email for Orange Knowledge Program 2022.
  • Netherlands government scholarship accepts applicants in three rounds.
  • Round 1: March 22, 2022
  • Round 2: June 28, 2022
  • Round 3: October 1, 2022
  • It is recommended to start the process early and not to wait for the deadline.

Deadlines

  • Round 1 – for master’s and short courses
    • Accepting applications between 2 February – 22 March 16.00 CET.
    • Both master’s and short courses should start between 25 July and 21 November 2022.
  • Round 2 – for short courses
    • Accepting applications between 11 May – 28 June 16.00 CET.
    • Courses should start between 21 November 2022 and 20 February 2023.
  • Round 3 – for short courses
    • Accepting applications between 31 August – 11 October 16.00 CET.
    • Courses should start from 20 February 2023 onward and must be completed before 31 August 2023.
