Letje Lips Amsterdam Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  • You do not qualify for the statutory tuition fees because your passport is not from the EU or EEA.
  • This is your first time applying to a master’s degree at the UvA. Candidates who apply to the UvA for a second Master’s program will not be considered for scholarships.
  • You are eligible to enter the Master’s program because you meet the prerequisites, including the English language requirement.
  • You are only eligible for the LLAMS; no other scholarships have been awarded. If you receive a different scholarship, kindly let the Graduate School of Humanities’ Admissions Office know.
  • You are attempting to enroll in a Master’s program (regular, dual, or research) where interviews are not required as a part of the application process. Therefore, if you are interested in applying to one of the following programs—Art and Performance Research Studies, Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Curating Art and Cultures, Heritage and Memory Studies, International Dramaturgy, Latin American Studies, Linguistics and Communication, Museum Studies, and the Dutch-taught programs Documentaire en fictie, Educatie en communicatie (Duits, Engels, Frans, Nederlands), Journalis—you are not eligible for a scholarship

Application Method

In addition to your Master’s application, you must also submit a scholarship application. Different committees will examine the Master’s application and the scholarship application. Follow these steps to submit your master’s application and scholarship application:

  1. Make your Master’s program application the first thing you do. Please visit Application page for information on how to apply for a Master’s program. On your MyInfo application form, you will find the option to “apply for a scholarship.” Check this box and submit the application (complete) by the due date.
  2. Download the scholarship application form, then carefully read the directions.
