About the Karman Healthcare Scholarship

The Karman Healthcare Scholarship Scheme is for high school students and university students to help them achieve their life goals. Karman Scholarship applies to students with reduced mobility, academic excellence, and people concerned with disability awareness in America.

Details of Karman Healthcare Scholarship

• Level: Undergraduate.
• Eligible Nationalities: Open to all international students who have a mobility disability, excelled academically and those who have a regard for disability awareness in America.
• Funding: offering two $500 scholarships.
• Country: America.
• University: Any desired university in America.
• Deadline: September 1, 2020.
• Field Of Study: Various fields.
• Duration: Annually.

Eligibility for Karman Healthcare Scholarship

To be eligible, applicants must;

1. Have a mobility disability;
2. Excelled academically and those who have a regard for disability awareness in America.
3. Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in the U.S.
4. Aged sixteen (16) years or older.
5. Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 (or equivalent).

Documents Required

All documents need to be sent in the following format .doc, .docx, or .pdf file:

1. Statement of result or transcript – unofficial transcripts accepted.
2. An essay answering this year’s theme. If you are mailing in your submission, please use standard size 8.5 in. x 11 in. paper to submit your entry. If you are sending your essay via email, it must be typed and saved as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file.

Theme: Pick an experience from your own life and explain how it has influenced your development.

       3. Proof of Mobility disability (applies to daily use of a Mobility device.)
4. A portrait image of yourself that will be posted online if you are chosen as a winner.
