Iowa State University Scholarship is now open for interested and qualified students who are eligible to study in the United States of America.

The scholarship is an award of up to $40,000 to successful candidates who have been offered admission and will not be receiving financial sponsorship through their home country’s government for a duration of four (4) years.

Iowa State is committed to enrolling a diverse and talented student population. The International Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, and outstanding talent or achievements in one or more of the following areas: math and sciences, the arts, extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, innovation, or entrepreneurship.

Eligibility of Iowa state university scholarship:

o be considered for the International Merit Scholarships at Iowa State University, applicants are to meet the following criteria;

• Applicants must be incoming international freshmen who have been offered admission to study a full time program at the university.
• Applicants must submit a qualifying SAT or ACT scores.
• Applicants must complete the Iowa State University OneApp by completing the General OneApp application and completing the International Student Admissions Scholarship application.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong academic and leadership abilities.

Benefits of Iowa state university scholarship:

• Per year: $2,000 to $10,000 (renewable)
• Recipients will receive funding for a maximum of eight semesters, or until they complete their degree, whichever comes first.

How to apply for the scholarship:

• Finish off your application with the OneApp from Iowa State University.
• Complete both the standard OneApp application and the application for the International Student Admissions Scholarship.
• It is imperative that you use your name in its exact form as it appears on your application for admission in order for your scholarship application to be properly matched with your undergraduate application. You will use this form to draft your essay, submit your most recent resume or CV (in PDF format), and email the recommendation letter form to the individual you have asked to provide it. (All of these items have to be handed in using this particular form. Any scholarship applications sent via email or regular mail will not be considered.)
