5. Google Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI)

For students, the NSA offers a variety of options, such as internships and scholarships. (Students should apply early for a greater chance at acceptance; keep in mind that the Agency picks candidates for its programs up to a year in advance.)

The Stokes Program, available to high school graduates, particularly those from underrepresented groups, who want to specialize in computer science or computer/electrical engineering, is one noteworthy option. You will get a yearly wage and have your college expenses paid in full, up to a maximum of $30,000. In exchange, after graduating, you must put in at least 1.5 times as much hours at the NSA.
