Applications for the CastleBranch-GNSA Scholarship Program are currently being accepted by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). With a dedication to innovation, leadership, and/or mentoring, graduate nursing students who are elevating the nursing profession are honored with this scholarship. For a total of four scholarships per academic year, two $2,500 scholarships will be given out each semester.

The following qualifying requirements must be fulfilled by all CastleBranch-GNSA Scholarship applicants:
- Must be enrolled in a graduate nursing program at a nursing school that is a member of AACN.
- A GNSA member is required.
- A GPA of at least 3.5 is required.
- A U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident is required of the applicant.
- Applicants are required to submit a 500 word essay outlining their innovative, leadership, and/or peer mentoring contributions to the nursing profession.
- One academic or professional reference must be provided by applicants.
In the event that the student is awarded the scholarship, AACN will check with the nursing school dean to confirm the student’s academic standing.
The winners of the essay contest will be required to provide a summary of it in the GNSA Collaboration Community.
